Terms & Conditions (Public Beta)

Trailstep is in active development. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We may suspend or terminate access to the beta at any time.

You must be 18 years or older to use Trailstep.

You are responsible for any activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

You may delete your account via the interface or by emailing contact.trailstep@gmail.com.

Trailstep is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans after beta, we will notify users and require explicit agreement to any new terms.

• Do not use Trailstep for unlawful activity.
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• Do not upload malicious code or infringe on third-party rights.
• Do not scrape or automate access without permission.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Trailstep, including its branding, UI, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse these materials without permission.

You retain ownership of your own content but grant Trailstep a limited license to display and store it in order to provide the Service.

Feedback submitted to Trailstep may be used to improve the platform, without compensation or obligation.

• We collect minimal analytics to improve Trailstep.
• No user tracking occurs in local development.
• Data is stored in Supabase (EU region) with encryption at rest with AES-256 and in transit via TLS.
• We may delete beta data without notice. Please back up anything important.

Trailstep uses third-party services like Supabase, Vercel and PostHog. We are not responsible for service disruptions caused by these providers.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.

To the extent permitted by law, Trailstep shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed €50.

You agree to indemnify Trailstep against any claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

We may update these Terms at any time. For major updates, we will provide notice via email or in-app banner at least 7 days in advance. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, unless your local laws require otherwise.
